Showing
the way are experienced teachers who have long years
of teaching in innovative educational systems. Teachers
devote their energies not only to teaching but also
to developing strengths and talents lying dormant within
a child. We believe that every child has the potential
to excel and it is our duty to make this come to pass.
The special objective of the teacher is to nurture and
develop each child's self-esteem so that he/she becomes
a happy, loving and concerned individual. A pupil-teacher
ratio of 15:1 is our target. Thus quality attention
is guaranteed to each pupil. Tuitions are not encouraged
and homework is a fun word. Application of knowledge
and problem solving are encouraged at every instance. |
Self-discipline,
respects for others, developing values are natural outcomes
of the curriculum and are not imposed from the outside. |
The
School is affiliated to University of Cambridge International
Examination (Affiliation No. IN.460). The children are
eligible to appear in 'O' Level and ultimately in 'A'
Level examinations organized by CIE,
UK. |
| The
school is managed by the Mohta
Educational Society (registered under the Registration
Of Societies West Bengal Act in 1973). The Society is
successfully running an English-medium. school in Rajasthan
for well over a decade as well as a degree college, the
largest private sector college in the state and a technical
education institution. So BIS, albeit a new entrant among
the educational institutions in the city and a trail-blazer
as far as international schools go, comes to you with
very sound credentials and a world of experience. |
